There are still a number of obvious vacancies throughout Hamilton, but a fresh theme is emerging as the commercial property sales team reports improved leasing and sales enquiry. While it is true that both commercial and business sales show encouraging signs, it is apparent that decision-makers are taking their time in reaching their verdicts. A strong sense of caution is clearly prevalent in the market. There is no shortage of investment funds chasing commercial property – but the appeal seems heavily biased toward the strength of tenant (and tends to be less-enamored with a property’s intrinsic value).
