Industry veteran Ken Vernon has been involved in a number of interesting projects during his 20 year commercial real estate career. In 2002 Ken sold a site on State Highway 1 in Te Rapa to Livingstone Builders.

In 2005 Ken resold the land to Ultra Cars in a design build leaseback arrangement which saw Livingstone Builders complete the project. Ken was involved in every step from the schematic draft concept plans to the final plans and agreed building contract price.

The building was the winner of the Commercial/Industrial Award at the 2008 Master Builders House of the year.
